On Saturday, June 20, 2015, dust off those flip flops and come down to Cowansville’s Municipal Beach to celebrate summer fun at the free ‘La Plage en Fête’ (Beach Party). Formerly known as Cowansville’s ‘Journée Champetre des Générations,’ the Beach Party, from 10 am to 4 pm, is a day of fun for all ages with games and activities for children, live entertainment, a free lunch and dessert, prizes and great community involvement.
Townshippers’ Association is a proud partner of this and will be one of several bilingual community organizations who will come out to spread the word of their services and provide on-the-spot advice. Other local businesses will also be joining in to take part in the fun and support their community.
Activities for seniors and young families will be facilitated throughout the morning and into the afternoon. The day will feature a raffle, open-mic entertainment, food, and games. Please join us in celebrating La Plage en Fête/Beach Party. In case of rain, the Beach Party will take place on Sunday, June 21.
For more information on any of the day’s activities, please contact Maggie Severs at Townshippers’ Association’s Lac-Brome office at 450-242-4421 or [email protected]
