Community Invited to Townshippers’ Association’s Spring Open House

 

LAC-BROME, April 28, 2016 – The non-profit community organization, Townshippers’ Association, is hosting an open house at their Knowlton office on Friday May 6 from 10:30 am to 2 pm. The public is invited to explore the office at 584 Knowlton Rd. Lac-Brome, and discover more about the organization and their many exciting projects.

“Hosting events like the open house gives us the chance to show community members how we work and what we value. What’s especially enjoyable is that is also gives us a personal experience with our neighbours,” said Rachel Hunting, Townshippers’ Executive Director.  “Anyone interested in our work is invited to come see what the Association has to offer, ask questions, meet some of the team and, get to know more about our activities and community programs. If you are new to the region, we extend a special invitation for you join us and meet others in the community!”

Townshippers’ Association is focused on promoting and supporting the interests of the English-speaking minority community in the Eastern Townships. This mother’s day edition open house will have fun games with prizes to be won – bring a family friendly joke to participate – refreshments and flowers for all ladies in attendance. Visitors are also invited to browse and shop from Townships Expressions collection of products by local authors/artists or with a Townships theme. Admission is free and everyone is invited!

The open house will be held on Friday May 6 from 10:30 to 2pm. The office is located at 584 Knowlton Rd. Lac-Brome, in the Synergie Knowlton (formerly Tennis Lac-Brome) building. Parking is available to guests in front of the building.
