As part of Quebec Family Week, Waterloo is organizing its 4th edition of Famillies en Fête/ Family Day on May 23, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, in the gymnasium of St. Bernardin Pavilion of Orée des Cantons school, 14 Lewis Street West.
Danielle Larouche, from the St. Bernardin Parish, coordinates this festival alongside the organizing committee. The Organizing Committee consists of ten organizations that are rolling up their sleeves to make this day a family friendly event. The entire population, from the smallest, to largest, will find activities tailored for them. The objective of Family Day is to promote family, community, and services available to them in the region. Activities and site access are free!
From 10:00 am, the kiosks of thirty regional organizations will populate the Sacred heart hall of St. Bernardin Pavilion in Waterloo; ready with activities for the whole family. These activities include music, animation, and games that will get you moving. Participants will rediscover the pleasure of playing and being with family and other members of their community.
Those who come to take part in the festivities will be able to refuel on site! Casse-croûte santé from the Youth Home, l’Exit, will offer a varied and enticing healthy menu. An area will also be available for those who want to bring a picnic
