Under the theme, ‘Discovering Joy in Caregiving,’ the forum is designed to provide English-speaking family caregivers the opportunity to come together and collect information from experts and supportive local resources.
Dr. Joe Schwarcz, well known radio personality, McGill Professor and magician, will provide a keynote address followed by presentations on budgeting for caregivers, health and legal matters, workshops on art and music, video screenings, a gala reception and a book launch.
“This is the first event I know of to bring English speaking caregivers together from across the MRC of Memphrémagog and the Townships,” says event organizer Eric Akbar Manolson. “It will provide a place for many community groups and individuals to meet new friends, lean and feel good.”
