According to the Canadian Hearing Society, nearly one in four adult Canadians report some hearing loss. “Hearing loss frequently goes unnoticed and because it happens gradually, many people are in denial. They often stop communicating and withdraw from family, friends and social situations because they can’t understand what is being said.” (Canadian Hearing Society, online).
This session will explore what happens when we start to lose our hearing, hearing loss as we age, and what can be done about it to increase your awareness and better help yourself, your family members and your community.
