Youth

Townshippers’ believes that the voice and active participation of our youth makes a difference in building a stronger community in the future. This is why the Association gives free memberships to youth under 21 and why we are involved in a variety of long and short-term youth-orientated projects. With new projects and activities taking place as funding becomes available, visit this page often for the latest updates!

KIT 2012 08 01 MWFY

Between touring the region, Discovery Day participants enjoyed some fun in the sun lakeside. Contact MWFY Migration Agent Jenny today to register for one of these free all-inclusive tours of the region!

With support services, free all-inclusive exploratory weekends and much more, Make Way For YOUth (MWFY) is combating outward migration by working to encourage English-speaking youth to plant their roots in the Estrie region. MWFY an initiative of Place aux jeunes en région offered to the English-speaking community by Townshippers’ Association. Visit this page to find out more  >>

One exciting activity offered by MWFY are the all-inclusive Discovery Days weekends, which gives participants a chance to play, discover and explore one of the great communities in the Estrie region over two nights and three days. The best part – it’s all on us!

Without having to worry about accommodations and meals, post-secondary school graduates or soon-to-be graduates, between 18 and 35 years, are free to develop community and business contacts, learn about the work/play balance found in the region and experience their potential future home before making the move!

Get ready to have your senses tickled by the sights, sounds, and tastes, and have a chance to network with community and business members to inspire and potentially support you should you decide to make the Townships your home.

Next Discovery Days to be announced.
