BIO: Graduate of McGill 1973 Food Science at Macdonald College. Worked as clinical dietitian 25 years (nephrology speciality). Collaborated with other renal dieticians to develop diet manual and other teaching materials. President of Association of Nephrology loved the teaching aspect and making complicated concepts accessible to everyone in order to improve their lifestyles. Met my husband at our 30th year class reunion when we volunteered to be on a committee to fund raise for a class gift.
Random facts: Born St. Boniface Manitoba. Lived in Montreal until 2007. Joined Townshippers’ in 2008
Most proud of: The development of 3 support groups in the Brome-Missisquoi region through use of CHEP materials; Working with Barb Bellingham from Avante to develop the successful Health Matters program which brings health information to the members of the English-speaking community. I love the fact that the networking method of working which we have with the CHSSN is now being used by many other groups of community and public partners.
