Townshippers’ Association Presentation to the
National Assembly Commission regarding Bill 60
[Quebec Charter of Values]
January 16th, 2014
Following an in-depth analysis of the changes to existing legislation proposed in Bill 60, Townshippers’ Association requests that this bill be withdrawn as we believe that it presents a direct threat not only to the English-speaking populations represented by groups such as ours, but to all minorities in Quebec. We have identified four major concerns that lead us to conclude that it is in the best interests of all minorities in Quebec for the government to withdraw this bill.
