Townshippers’ Association is turning
Join us for a special anniversary celebration on
Friday, December 12th, 2014 – 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Since its creation in 1979, Townshippers’ Association has had the interest of the English-speaking community at its heart. Its focus has been to ensure that all of the members of this minority community remain visible. Through a variety of initiatives, Townshippers’ works to strengthen the community and culture of English-speaking Townshippers, open doors of opportunity for youth and promote access to health, social and other services in English. The association’s work continues to be important today and its input is sought by federal, provincial and local governments and other bodies on a variety of issues that touch on the lives of English-speakers in Quebec.
Don’t miss the opportunity to celebrate the community spirit that has powered the Association for the last 35 years at a special celebration and networking reception on December 12th. Explore the location of Townshippers’ head office in the Marguerite Knapp Building, discover what activities the association has been involved in and what is coming up next, chat with the team responsible for so many projects and activities and meet with representatives from the Association’s Board. Enjoy door prizes and refreshments served along with the 35th anniversary dessert!
The celebration takes place on Friday, December 12th, 2014, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Townshippers’ Association’s head office, in the Marguerite Knapp Building, 257 Queen Street, Sherbrooke.
