Need Legal Information, Call Us!
For the past eight years, Townshippers’ has been privileged to offer free legal information to the public thanks to a partnership with the Université de Sherbrooke which provides a third-year law student one day a week in our Sherbrooke office. While located in the Estrie region, this service is open to those in the Montérégie East regions as well.
Every Tuesday from 9 am to 3 pm until December, third-year law student Zarnab Durrani is ready to answer your questions by phone or email, or in person from our Sherbrooke office.
Originally from Montreal, Zarnab has an undergraduate degree from McGill in Biomedicine and is enrolled in Common Law and Transitional Law program at the UdeS. She is interested in all things legal including constitutional, property, human rights, labour, consumer protection, family, and corporate law and is part of the Lawyers Without Borders chapter at the university.
Do you have a legal question for Zarnab? You can reach her toll-free at 1-877-566-2182 (local calls 819-566-2182) or by email at [email protected]
It is important to remember that legal information interns are still students. They are not allowed by law to dispense advice or offer opinions. This is reserved for lawyers who have passed the bar exam. Students are able to refer people to practicing lawyers as well as other services such as Educaloi.
