A unique street festival for the whole family, combining the wisdom of craftsmanship, live music, a discussion panel on the theme of the Professional life as an artist, guided tours of La Fabrique’s maker-spaces, and twenty kiosks filled with art sales and demonstrations. It is the meetup for all artists and artisans!

Join us this Saturday, October 5th, on Marquette Street in from of Sherbrooke’s former police station to discover an amazing variety of animations, twenty artist and artisan’s kiosks, creative demonstrations, a discussion panel between professional artists, live music and guided tours of La Fabrique’s collective workshops. Do you have broken things? Bring them to the Fair and have them fixed at the “Café de Réparation” by specialist repairers (a project by the Engineering Faculty at the Université de Sherbrooke). Join us at noon for a BBQ with vegetarian options, as well as a selection of micro-brewed beer, kombucha, barista-brewed coffee, hot chocolate and other delights.

Previously known as the “Mini Maker Fair”, we are proud to present the very first edition of La Foire Marquette. A fun event for the whole family, supported by La Fabrique Atelier Collectif, is organised by a committee comprised of volunteers and La Fabrique’s staff. La Fabrique is a solidarity cooperative which makes available collective workshops allowing its members to create (almost) anything. La Fabrique also offers training, rental spaces and much more. The workshops are open between Monday and Friday from 9 AM through 9 PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM through 5 PM.
